Stripey borders...

...are the order of the day over at shimelle.com.  She's created a "starting point" this week  which allows scrapbookers to make bold stripes useable, by layering a plain on top.  Here's my attempt:

  1. I used a diagonal stripe for this challenge, too :). I like your journaling block positioned on the edge of the page - really pretty!

  3. Thank you, Rebecca! I actually didn't even have a diagonal stripe so I cut down a 12x12 at an angle, it's about 8.5" square. I will go and look at yours too x

  4. Thank you Carla. It came about the wrong way round in the end - I picked a paper I liked for the challenge and then found the photo to match!
